Create Your Portfolio

What is a Portfolio?

Your portfolio is like your “team” in the game. Instead of choosing players for a match, you “invest” in cricket players by buying their stocks.

How to Start?

Use the funds in your in-app wallet to buy stocks of players you believe will be in demand or whose popularity will increase. Example: If you think Virat Kohli will gain attention due to upcoming matches, you can buy his stock.

Why Buy Player Stocks?

The more demand a player has (more people buying than selling), the higher their stock price will rise. You can sell their stock later at a higher price to make a profit.

Player Stock Prices: How They Work

What Determines the Price of a Player Stock?

A player’s stock price is not directly linked to their on-field performance but to the trading activity of app users.

If many users buy a player’s stock, the demand increases, causing the price to rise.

If many users sell a player’s stock, the price drops due to excess supply.

The Last Traded Price (LTP) serves as the new price for the player. This means that every successful trade updates the player’s price to reflect the latest transaction value.

What Influences Trades?

Users’ decisions to buy or sell stocks are influenced by external factors such as:

Example:

If Jasprit Bumrah is injured before a match, many users may sell his stock, causing the price to drop. Conversely, if he is in form and many users buy his stock, the price will rise.

Why do Prices Fluctuate?

Stock prices fluctuate purely based on user trading activity—just like real-world stocks. A player’s performance indirectly impacts their price by influencing users’ trading decisions. The player prices dynamically adjust based on market activity, ensuring a fair and real-time trading experience.

Using the In-App Wallet

Adding Funds:

Deposit money into your wallet using payment methods like UPI, debit cards, or net banking. Once you add the funds, after deducting GST and convenience charges from the deposit amount, it is converted into CricX coins or “Cx” (₹1 = 13 Cx)

Withdrawing Funds:

When you make a profit, you can choose to invest more “Cx” by adding more funds or transfer the “Cx” balance money from your wallet to your bank account. Withdrawal requests are processed within 1-2 business days.

Managing Money:

Keep track of your balance. Example: If you have 100 Cx in your wallet, you cannot buy stocks worth 150 Cx until you add more funds.

Buying and Selling Stocks

Buying Stocks:

Choose a player and decide how many stocks you want to buy.

Example: If Rohit Sharma’s stock price is 500 Cx, buying 10 stocks will cost you 5000 Cx.

Selling Stocks:

When the player’s stock price rises, sell their stocks to earn a profit.

Example: If you bought 1 stock of Rohit Sharma at 500 Cx and the price rises to 700 Cx, selling that stock will give you 700 Cx, earning you 200 Cx in profit.

Market Timing:

The market is open 24*7. After 12 midnight the market will refresh and LTP will update for the next day. Trading is paused during critical events (e.g., server maintenance).

Limits:

You can trade up to a maximum volume of 10,000 stocks per day per user

Trading Fee

We charge an administrative fee (“Trading Fee”) at the time of each transaction (buying/selling of a stock) of 0.30% is charged for each transaction.

Withdrawal

You can withdraw your earnings from the app, subject to the following rules and conditions:

Before making the withdrawal, you are required to do a KYC verification as follows:

What is a restricted state?

You may not participate if you are a resident of any state in India where participating, organising or conducting the CricX game is prohibited, the states include Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Sikkim, and Nagaland.

Safety and Fair Trading

Understand the Risks:

Investing in player stocks, like any trading activity, involves financial risk. Stock prices can fluctuate based on user activity, market sentiment, and unpredictable factors.

No Guaranteed Returns:

There are no guarantees of profit. A player’s stock price can rise or fall depending on demand and trading activity.

Invest only what you can afford to lose, as there is a possibility of losing money if trades don’t go as planned.

Avoid Impulsive Decisions:

Base your trades on careful analysis and research, not on speculation or emotions.

Avoid panic-selling if stock prices drop temporarily, as they may recover with time.

What Happens if I Make a Mistake?

If you buy the wrong stock or the player doesn’t perform as expected, you might lose money. However, market trends and good decisions can help you recover.

Fair Trading:

The app monitors for unusual trading activities, such as attempts to manipulate stock prices. Violators may face account suspension.
